Kam.64b (ref. to Ex. 22:8) ולא המַרְשִׁיעַ עצמו “he whom the judges shall condemn shall pay double”, but not he who accuses himself. Ib. (ref. to Ex. ib. 3) פרט למרשיעוכ׳ to the exemption of him who ; a. fr. 3) to do wrong. Tanḥ. Dbarim 3; Yalk.
